Solar grid-tied (also know as On-grid) solution is a system that generates electricity using sun rays. These systems do not require any batteries or electricity storage medium. Following is the simple working principle of this kind of solar system:
1) Solar Panels generate DC (Direct Current) electricity in the presence ofsunlight.
2) This DC electricity is then converted into AC electricity with the help of Solar Grid-Tied Inverter.
3) The Solar Grid-Tied / On-Grid inverter can generate single-phase (1ph) or three-phase (3ph) electricity as per the requirement.

4) Electricity coming from the GRID (DISCOM Distribution Network like MSEB) is combined with Solar electricity. This combination is used to operate the load.
5) If the net meter is available (State’s net metering policy), then the excess electricity can be sold to the GRID and one can earn PROFIT out of it!

1. We need to calculate your electricity consumption of every month. For this, an electricity bill (of any 1 month) can help us. Also, load shedding, power cut details will be needed.
