Engineering Excellence Delivered

🔹 Premium Module Selection – Waaree 540 Wp Bi-facial Panels

For this project, we chose panels from Waaree Energies, India’s most trusted solar module brand. The 540 Wp bi-facial panels not only generate power from direct sunlight on the front side but also capture reflected light from the roof surface through the rear side, resulting in an additional 4–6% energy gain. This dual-sided advantage makes them an ideal fit for industrial-scale rooftop installations.

🔹 Hybrid Structural Design – Smart & Site-Specific

The project demanded an intelligent mix of south-tilted structures and flush-mounted arrangements to accommodate the roof’s layout and site constraints.

  • On the tin shed, we installed a south-tilted GI structure with a 1-meter clearance — aiding in proper airflow, heat dissipation, and ease of maintenance.
  • For certain roof sections, we used flush-mounted structures with 100 mm short rails — a smart, compact solution engineered for stability and thermal management where height allowance was limited.

This blend of structural techniques is a testament to our site-specific engineering capabilities, ensuring that every inch of the rooftop is utilized efficiently without compromising safety or performance.

🔹 Next-Gen Inverter Technology – Panel-Level Optimization

We deployed SolarEdge inverters, a global leader in smart energy technologies. The setup includes:

  • 66 kVA × 2 units
  • 100 kVA × 1 unit
  • Total inverter capacity: 232 kVA, with 28.8% DC overloading for enhanced energy harvest.

Each panel is equipped with a power optimizer, enabling:

  • Real-time, panel-wise generation monitoring
  • Minimized mismatch losses — shading, dirt, or fault in one panel doesn’t impact others
  • Simplified maintenance and warranty claim process

In short, the system is smarter, safer, and significantly more efficient than traditional inverter setups.

🔹 Inverter Shed – Weatherproof and Work-Friendly

A fully constructed inverter shed ensures that the sensitive electronics are protected from weather exposure such as rain, direct sunlight, and dust — while also offering a safe and clean environment for O&M staff. This small detail reflects our approach: every component matters.

🔹 Heavy-Duty Staircase – 1.5 Ton of Structural Safety

One of the highlights of this installation was the creation of a custom-built, heavy-duty staircase weighing approximately 1500–1600 kg.
Designed using high-strength materials, this staircase was built not just for access but for safety, durability, and long-term usage. It includes:

  • Anti-skid steps
  • Heavy load-bearing capability
  • Ergonomic handrails
  • Secure anchoring to the base structure

This structural feat ensures safe, seamless rooftop access for inspection, cleaning, or any future additions to the plant — a truly future-ready design.

 Environmental & Economic Impact

This 300 kW solar power system is projected to generate around 4,20,000 units (kWh) of clean electricity every year. At an average industrial tariff of ₹9/unit, the savings amount to approximately ₹37.8 lakhs per annum.

But the impact goes beyond savings:

  • The system offsets over 390 metric tons of CO₂ emissions per year
  • It is equivalent to planting 12,000+ mature trees annually
  • It represents a meaningful step in India’s renewable energy journey
