30kw Solar System For Urban Bank Khamgaon
Khamgaon urban bank is a very reputed co-operative bank in Maharashtra and is known for their innovative projects. The management of the bank were keen to reduce their electricity bills and wanted to make the bank a green facility.
Engineers of Chirayu Power Pvt Ltd visited the bank and conducted detailed assessment of their daily electricity requirement, Roof-top’s shadow analysis, load bearing capacity of the building etc.
We found that actual requirement of bank was 40KW but bank do not have space for more than 30KW of solar system. We had multiple meetings with the management and we presented the actual savings due to solar system. After a while, the management approved the project.
On 5th August 2016, we completed the solar system installation of 30kw for the bank facility. We use high performance 4BB polycrystalline modules along with SMA inverter.
The best feature of the project is, the complete project is lifted 6 feet above the roof surface so that bank can utilise their roof for multiple purpose. The complete structure was build using heavy I-channel and properly grouted. The system is designed to with stand wind velocity of 160km/hr.
Today, the solar system is generating 158 – 160 units of electricity every day. As per the chairman of the bank, “It’s a time when everyone should think of generating their own power using solar system. We are very happy to have this green solution at our facility”.
This is the biggest solar system of Khamgaon to as of date.
