Project Overview:

Our journey with J R Cotton started through a recommendation from Mr. Pranay Omprakash Dalia, the owner of Prakash White Gold, Hinganghat, where we successfully installed a 250 kW solar system. Impressed with our performance, Mr. Dalia recommended Chirayu Power Pvt. Ltd. to Mr. Manish Mundada, the owner of J R Cotton.

From the beginning, Mr. Mundada’s keen technical expertise and his interest in solar technology pushed us to deliver our best. He meticulously evaluated every technical detail, installation method, and safety measure, ensuring we met his high expectations before awarding us the project.

This project was unique due to its timing—the installation had to take place during the peak cotton ginning season while the factory was operating at full capacity. This meant no interruptions were allowed during installation, a challenge that Chirayu Power took head-on and executed successfully, ensuring zero production downtime.

Given the flammable environment from cotton fibers, safety was paramount. We followed strict safety protocols during welding and fabrication work, using fire blankets, extinguishers, and designated fire watchers. The team’s commitment to safety and quality led to the successful and incident-free execution of the project.

    1. High-Efficiency Waaree Panels:
      • Panel Type: Waaree 575 Wp Mono + PERC + Half Cut Cells + Bifacial N-Type Panels.
      • Total Panels Installed: 434 Nos.
      • Panel Technology: High-efficiency panels designed to deliver maximum energy output over the lifetime of the system.
    2. SolarEdge Inverters:
      • Inverter Type: SolarEdge Optimization Inverter.
      • Warranty: 12 Years.
      • Inverter Configuration:
        • 100 kVA x 2 Nos.
      • SolarEdge’s world-leading technology allows for optimized energy production and panel-level monitoring.
    3. Power Optimizer (S1200):
      • DC-DC Converter with MPPT Logic.
      • S1200 Model optimizes energy generation and system efficiency.
      • Warranty: 25 Years.
    4. Wind-Resistant Mounting Structure:
      • The mounting structure is designed to withstand winds up to 150 km/h.
      • Structural Type: Aluminum short rail structure (mono rail) designed for optimal panel placement on the rooftop.
      • Leak-proof Installation: Panels are securely mounted using innovative pasting solutions, ensuring no leakage.
      • Safety: 6 purlins per panel for enhanced stability and safety.
    5. Walkways & Safety:
      • GI walkways are installed along the shade for easy and safe maintenance access.
      • Length of Walkway: 170 meters.
    6. Junction Box / ACDB / DCDB:
      • IP65-protected JB with SPD, fuses, breakers, isolators, MCB, phase indicator, and MCCBs.
      • Separate DCDB and isolator for each inverter, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the system.
    7. Earthing and Lightning Protection:
      • Copper Bonded Heavy Chemical Earthing system, ensuring minimum earthing resistance and optimal performance.
      • Lightning Protection: ESE Lightning Arrestor with a 108-meter protection radius for added safety, along with 4 Nos. Copper Arrestors for advanced lightning protection.
    8. AC & DC Cables:
      • TUV-certified cables used for both AC and DC connections, ensuring safe and reliable electrical connections for the solar system.
      • Armored cables with damage-proof coating ensure long-lasting durability and weather resistance.
