Refund and Pricing Policy – Chirayu Power Private Limited
Effective Date: 01 April 2020
This Refund and Pricing Policy applies to all transactions and agreements made through Chirayu Power Private Limited (“Company,” “we,” or “us”) for the provision of solar EPC solutions, consultancy services, equipment supply, and all associated offerings through www.chirayupower.com.
- Pricing Policy
All prices are quoted in INR (Indian Rupees) and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
The pricing of our EPC and consultancy services is based on detailed technical assessment, site feasibility, and statutory compliance requirements.
Any change in government regulations, duties, taxes, or foreign exchange fluctuations affecting the cost of imported components will be borne by the client.
Quoted prices are valid for a specific period mentioned in the proposal or Work Order. Post expiry, Chirayu Power reserves the right to revise pricing.

- Refund Policy
All orders confirmed through a Work Order or Purchase Agreement are considered final and non-cancellable.
Refunds, if applicable, will only be processed under the following conditions:
In case of service non-delivery due to reasons attributable solely to Chirayu Power.
In case of cancellation by the customer before any procurement, design, or mobilization has occurred, subject to administrative charges.
Material Refunds (Third-Party Manufactured Equipment):
Products not manufactured by Chirayu Power (e.g., solar panels, inverters, batteries, cables, etc.) are subject to the refund and return policy of the original manufacturer or supplier.
Chirayu Power will act as a facilitator for such refunds but shall not be held liable for any rejection, deduction, or delay in refund by the manufacturer.
Refunds will not be issued for:
Partial completion of project stages once work has commenced.
Delay due to force majeure, statutory permissions, or third-party vendors.

- Payment Terms
All payments must be made as per the milestones defined in the Work Order, Letter of Intent (LOI), or agreement.
Non-compliance with payment terms may result in suspension of work or cancellation of the project.
Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 30 business days of written approval, after deducting applicable charges.

- Force Majeure Clause
Chirayu Power shall not be liable for any delay, loss, or failure to perform any of its obligations if such delay or failure is due to any Force Majeure events including but not limited to:
Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, cyclones, storms)
Fire, explosions, or accidents
War, hostilities, terrorist attacks, civil disturbance
Epidemics, pandemics, or quarantine restrictions
Government actions, bans, lockdowns, embargoes
Labour strikes, lockouts, or industrial disputes
Supply chain disruptions due to global or local events
In such cases, timelines and commitments shall automatically be extended for the duration of the Force Majeure event.

- Cancellation Charges
In case of client-initiated cancellation after order confirmation but before mobilization, a 20% cancellation fee on the project value will be applicable.
If cancellation is initiated post-mobilization or partial execution, all actual costs incurred (material, labour, design, logistics) will be chargeable in full.

- Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of refunds, cancellations, or pricing disagreements shall be governed under Indian Contract Act and will be subject to arbitration.
Jurisdiction will be the courts of Buldhana District, Maharashtra.
